National Coloured Congress leader and MP Fadiel Adams was released on R10 000 bail.

Fadiel Adams is expected to return to the Pinetown Magistrate’s Court in KwaZulu-Natal on Friday.

The leader of the National Coloured Congress (NCC) and Member of Parliament faces charges of fraud and defeating the administration of justice.

The charges stem from his alleged interference in the case involving the murdered ANC councillor, Sindiso Magaqa.

Adams was released in May on R10,000 bail.
