The National Coloured Congress (NCC) leader Fadiel Adams is the next in line to face the heat at the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry following a week of explosive revelations detailing a calculated campaign by Investigating Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC) senior officials to manipulate the law and fabricate criminal cases against top law enforcement figures.
Adams, now a suspended member of Parliament, is expected to answer critical questions regarding his Section 27 whistleblower affidavit, which served as the original genesis for a sweeping investigation into senior Crime Intelligence officials.
This came after he filed whistleblower complaints and criminal charges regarding alleged corruption, secret fund misuse, and vetting manipulation within Crime Intelligence in November 2024.
His highly anticipated grilling arrives after senior officials and prosecutors at IDAC exposed an alleged plot by high-ranking political and judicial figures to push unauthorised investigations, bypass statutory regulations, and deliberately set up top law enforcement leaders to force them out of office.
