Gap has just revealed the faces of its fall 2026 campaign, and they’re none other than Obsession star Inde Navarrette and musician Malcolm Todd. In a promotional video shared on Tuesday, Todd sings a cover of Robyn’s “Dancing On My Own” while playfully rolling on the floor and grooving to the music with the actress.The 22-year-old singer-songwriter’s tunes have been popular online for a while. “Chest Pain (I Love)” went viral on TikTok in early 2025, and more recently, “Earrings” is trending two years after its initial release in 2024.But who is Malcolm Todd behind his rock star persona? His father, Tim Hobert, is a former television scriptwriter, and his mother was involved in musical theatre.He has three siblings: his twin sister, Ella, younger brother, Charlie, and his older sister, Audrey. Audrey has recently found her feet in the music industry, working with Gracie Abrams and releasing her debut album, Who’s the Clown? last August.After graduating from Palisades Charter High School, Todd decided not to attend university and instead pursued a career in music. Though his parents were supportive of his work, it was difficult to convince his mother that he wouldn’t be attending the University of Oregon, where he had initially enrolled. “It was definitely cool to have a creative dad, and I feel like [I had] creative genes passed down to me,” Todd told the LA Times in June. “As far as me feeling like I can do music, I would attribute that to my mum just being super supportive and making me feel like I could do anything.”Despite being in the same industry, Todd says there is no rivalry between him and Audrey. The siblings supported each other by covering each other’s songs on Australian youth radio station Triple J’s show, Like A Version, in May.
