Trichinopoly, August 13: The twelfth meeting of the South Indian Railway Local Advisory Committee was held at Madras on the 31st July last when Mr. Percy Rothera, O.B.E. Ag. Agent, presided. The following is a summary of the proceedings:-The Committee suggested the re-introduction of the Mangalore Mail and the Chairman stated that the matter had been referred to the Chambers of Commerce, Cochin and Calicut and the Postal authorities and was receiving consideration.
