Wallis and Futuna, a small French overseas territory in the Pacific, is chairing the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP) Executive Board for the first time.
Jean Paul Mailagi, a member of Wallis and Futuna’s Environment, Infrastructure and Planning Committee, is chairing the fifth SPREP Executive Board Meeting being held at the Pacific Climate Change Centre in Apia from 12th-13th August.
“It is truly an honour and a great source of pride for Wallis and Futuna to lead the Troika at the level of SPREP,” Mailagi said.
