MANILA, Philippines — The Visayas and Mindanao continue to face electricity supply issues, with new power alerts announced on Thursday.
The outages of some major coal power plants and limited imports from Mindanao have led to another red alert declaration for the Visayas grid from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This marks Visayas’ fourth consecutive day of red alert.
