MANILA, Philippines — The Visayas and Mindanao grids continue to grapple with tight electricity supply on Tuesday as rising demand and outages at large coal plants threaten power interruptions.
In an advisory, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) has placed the Visayas under red alert for four hours, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
