MANILA, Philippines — Consumers in the Visayas may face power interruptions on Friday as tight supply persists amid coal plant outages and limited imports from Mindanao.

In an advisory, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) placed the Visayas under red alert again on Friday, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
