MANILA, Philippines – The Visayas faces another tight electricity supply on Thursday, prompting a seven-hour yellow alert in the region.
In an advisory, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines placed the yellow alert from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.

As of Thursday morning, the available capacity was 2,532 megawatts (MW), while peak demand was 2,388 MW.
