MANILA, Philippines – The Visayas grid continues to grapple with a tight power supply, prompting another yellow alert for two hours on Tuesday.
In an advisory, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines said the alert would be in effect from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

About 975 megawatts (MW) of capacity remained unavailable, as more power plants stayed on forced outages or operated at reduced output.
