MANILA, Philippines – Power strain continues over the Visayas region, as the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines issued another yellow alert on Tuesday.
In an advisory, the grid operator said the alert will be in place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The situation is still blamed on the unavailability of three major coal plants in the Visayas, with two of them having been offline since early May.
