The National Coloured Congress (NCC) leader and MP Fadiel Adams.

Parliament has rejected MP Fadiel Adams' claims that the laptop issued to him has been malfunctioning for the past 18 months.

In a statement on Tuesday, Parliament said that it reviewed records from its ICT Service Desk after Adams made these allegations during his testimony at the Madlanga Commission.

Parliament said it found no evidence of ongoing laptop issues, hardware failures, or instances of the device freezing during the specified period. Adams contended that these technical problems prevented him from responding to emails from the commission.

Adams told the inquiry that his laptop freezes daily, making it difficult for him to access correspondence.
