As CEO and Co-Founder of Axle Energy, he has built a virtual power plant network across Great Britain that links more than 300,000 home batteries, EV chargers and heat pumps, coordinating them to behave like a single power station.
That network now represents over 2GW of flexible capacity, which is more than many large nuclear power plants.
What's more, Axle has has just attracted US$25m in new funding that will allow that network to expand further still.
