Armindo Joaquim Pacula, the 25-year-old Mozambican national has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for the murder of DJ Warras.
The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has welcomed the sentencing of 25-year-old Mozambican national Joaquim Armando Pacula, who confessed to the murder of former Y-FM radio personality Warrick "DJ Warras" Stock.
Yesterday, Pacula was sentenced to 25 years in prison after admitting to killing Stock, who was shot dead on December 16, 2025, outside the Zambezi residential building near the Carlton Centre in Johannesburg’s central business district.
It is reported that Stock was contracted to offer security services to the building, which is believed to be one of the many hijacked buildings in the city centre. His involvement in the affairs of the building was alleged to be rubbing some people up the wrong way.
At the time, three suspects were reported to have confronted the radio and television presenter before opening fire and fleeing the scene on foot.
