MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang has ordered a work-from-home arrangement in government offices in the provinces of Zambales, Bataan, and Occidental Mindoro on Tuesday, August 11, due to the continued effects of ‘habagat’.
The arrangement was in compliance with the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, Memorandum Circular No. 124 issued on Monday evening said.
“Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas,” it also said.
