MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang has ordered government offices to implement work-from-home arrangements in Metro Manila and several provinces in Luzon on Aug. 10, Monday, due to the forecast heavy rainfall brought by southwest monsoon (habagat).
Under Memorandum Circular No. 123, face-to-face classes at all levels in public and private schools are also suspended. Schools shall shift to alternative learning modes, unless classes are canceled by their respective local chief executives.
