A Lagos woman, who simply identified herself as Adenike, has accused her neighbours of attacking her daughter, Nafisat, with a razor blade during a dispute at their residence in Oworonshoki, Lagos State, while alleging that the police mishandled the case and showed preferential treatment towards the suspects.
The woman made the allegations in an exclusive interview with SaharaReporters, recounting how a disagreement between Nafisat and a neighbour’s child allegedly escalated into a physical confrontation that left her daughter injured and bleeding.
The incident reportedly occurred at 59 Miyaki Street, Oworonshoki, where the families have lived in the same compound for about four years.
The woman identified one of the alleged attackers as Nifemi, also known as Imole, while the identity of her sister, whom she also accused of participating in the confrontation, was not immediately known.
According to the mother, the dispute started when a neighbour’s child was bathing close to their window and making noise.
