CITY OF MALOLOS—Flood waters in Bulacan rose as high as 6 feet on Sunday (August 9) as habagat rains, high tidal waters, discharges from local dams and floodwaters from Pampanga blanketed the province.
Manuel Luikban Jr., head of the Bulacan Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (PDRRMO), in a Monday (August 10) report, said 11,535 residents belonging to 3,477 families in all the 24 towns and cities in Bulacan were evacuated to safer ground.
