CALASIAO, Pangasinan – Heavy rain from tropical depression Luis, the seasonal habagat, and high tide left parts of this town and nearby Dagupan City under floodwaters by midday on Monday.
The entire Pangasinan province near the coast was placed under a Yellow Rainfall Warning (50–100 mm of rainfall) by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration.
The highway traversing Barangay Nalsian, Calasiao, to Mayombo District in Dagupan City is under almost a foot of water but passable by low vehicles. Some streets in Dagupan are also under water.
