MANILA, Philippines – Bad weather conditions due to sothwest monsoon or habagat forced the Senate to postpone the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte and the chamber’s regular session on Monday, August 10.
The trial and plenary session will resume on Tuesday, August 11, Renato Bantug Jr, the Senate secretary and clerk of court, said in an advisory released on Monday morning, August 10.
