SAN JUAN CITY, Philippines — Mayor Francis Zamora continued San Juan City’s efforts to strengthen partnerships with local government units across the country through a Sisterhood Agreement with the City of Roxas and his participation in Iloilo Liga Day 2026.

On July 18, Mayor Zamora joined Roxas City Mayor Ronnie T. Dadivas in the signing of a Sisterhood Agreement at the Dinggoy Roxas Civic Center in Roxas City, Capiz. The agreement formalized the partnership between the two cities and laid the foundation for closer collaboration in governance, tourism, economic development, disaster resilience, digital transformation, public service innovation, culture, education, health, sports, and other areas of mutual interest.

“Ako po ay magsisilbing tulay mula sa Pamahalaang Nasyonal papunta sa Roxas City at magsisilbing tulay mula sa Roxas City papunta sa Pamahalaang Nasyonal. Kung meron kayong problema o hinaing na dapat asikasuhin, ako po ay tutulong sa inyo,” Mayor Zamora declared.

Mayor Dadivas welcomed the partnership, emphasizing the value of collaboration among local government units in advancing responsive governance and creating more opportunities for their respective communities.
