Ten countries have joined the FREYJA integrated air and missile defense system program. The program is currently active.
President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this in an evening video address, according to Ukrinform.
“Our FREYJA program—a joint European anti-ballistic missile system—is already in full swing. Ten countries are participating, and more of our partners will join. These are partners who can provide real support. We have already agreed on this,” he said.
Zelensky expressed his gratitude to all companies willing to work within the framework of the anti-ballistic coalition.
He assured that Ukraine is capable of manufacturing its own missile and launch system, while its partners will provide the necessary components and critical elements: radars, sensors, and more.
