The Chairman of Agege Local Government of Lagos State, Abdulganiyu Obasa, has announced plans for the development of a park and recreation centre in the council area.
Obasa disclosed this in a video shared on X on Thursday, where he inspected the proposed site of the Agege Park and Recreation Centre on Akilo Road.
According to him, the project is aimed at providing residents with a recreational space while improving their quality of life.
“I inspected the ongoing development of the Agege Park and Recreation Centre on Akilo Road, and this is one project I’m particularly excited about,” he wrote.
He said the initiative goes beyond road construction and other physical infrastructure.
