Fatal Fans, an adult-content subscription platform featuring erotic and pornographic photos and videos owned by Atlas Technologies, has begun displaying its brand on the jersey of Corinthians, one of Brazil's biggest football clubs. The 22 million reais sponsorship deal, which runs through 2027, was signed amid the club's financial crisis, with debts estimated at between 2.4 billion and 2.7 billion reais.

According to the company's co-founder, Samuel Ongaratto, associating the brand with a prestigious football club transfers credibility to the platform "by osmosis." The site hosts around 30,000 content creators and receives about 7 million visits per month. The agreement has sparked debate over the limits of advertising in sports and the exposure of children and teenagers to this type of content, prompting complaints to the São Paulo Public Prosecutor's Office and legislative proposals aimed at restricting such advertising in public spaces and sporting events.

Responding to the criticism, Ongaratto said: "I'd be more concerned about a child at a football stadium hearing the guy next to them insulting the referee's mother than about an advertisement that I think they're unlikely to ask about."
