Nvidia, Cisco, and CrowdStrike are each rolling out distinct frameworks designed to address the growing security risks embedded in modern AI systems, from autonomous agents to cloud-deployed models. None of them are working together on it.

What each company is actually doing

Nvidia launched the Open Secure AI Alliance on July 27, 2026, a program focused on building open tools for responsible AI deployment and cybersecurity defense. The initiative includes the NVIDIA Labs Object-Oriented Agent project, internally called NOOA, which targets the emerging risks around AI agents, the autonomous software systems that can take actions on their own without a human clicking approve at every step.

Nvidia is also developing something called the Halos framework, aimed specifically at physical AI applications like robotics. When your AI is controlling a robot arm or a self-driving system, the consequences of a security failure are not just a data breach. They are physical.

Cisco published its Integrated AI Security and Safety Framework back in December 2025, and it went deep on taxonomy. The framework identifies 19 distinct attacker objectives and maps out more than 150 attack techniques, all tied to recognized security standards including NIST and OWASP.
