Services on Athens’ old electric railway line linking the capital with the busy ferry port of Piraeus were disrupted Tuesday by fallen tree branches, the STASY rail operator said.

A STASY statement said trains were running from Piraeus to Attiki station, and from the terminus of Kifissia in the city’s northern suburbs to Ano Patissia.

The three intermediate stations of Aghios Nikolaos, Kato Patissia and Aghios Eleftherios were out of operation until the branches could be removed.
