MANILA, Philippines — Two individuals were wounded following a shooting in Makati City over an alleged dispute related to illegal drugs, the Southern Police District (SPD) said on Tuesday.
In a statement, the SPD identified the victims by the aliases “Christian,” 26; and “Khen,” 23, who allegedly had a conflict with suspects “Rudy,” 34; and “Teejay,” 31, along Hiwaga Street in Barangay Olympia early Saturday morning.
“Initial findings indicate that the shooting stemmed from an alleged dispute over the division of proceeds from illegal drug activities or ‘onsehan sa droga,’” the police detailed.
