MANILA, Philippines — A 63-year-old mother was killed, and her 26-year-old daughter was wounded after they were shot by an unidentified man in Makati City, the Southern Police District (SPD) said Tuesday.
The perpetrator shot the victims in front of a hotel near the corner of Makati Avenue and Durban Street in Barangay Poblacion early Monday night, according to the SPD.

“The victims were shot by an unidentified male suspect described as wearing a white shirt, maong shorts, and white shoes. The suspect immediately fled the area on foot after the incident,” the police said.
