Diesel is going up and petrol is coming down from Wednesday.
Motorists can expect a mixed bag at the pumps this month, with petrol prices easing slightly, while diesel drivers prepare for another sharp increase starting Wednesday.
The Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources announced the August fuel price adjustments, with petrol falling by 52 cents per litre while diesel motorists face increases of between R1.23 and R1.38 per litre.
Following the price adjustments, a litre of 95 Unleaded petrol will cost R25.30 at the coast and R26.17 inland, where 93 Unleaded will cost R25.42.
The wholesale price of 500ppm diesel will increase to R25.29 at the coast and R26.16 inland, with the respective prices for 50ppm rising to R25.64 and R26.39 respectively.
