Tragic house fire in Fisantekraal leaves two children dead as inquest opened.
Western Cape Police have launched an inquest into a tragic house fire in Fisantekraal that claimed the lives of two young children.
The fire erupted at a residence on Kameeldrift Street in Greenville. After Fire and Rescue Services extinguished the blaze, the bodies of the two children, aged four and eleven, were discovered among the debris.
"Durbanville police registered an inquest for investigation following a fire," police spokesperson Sergeant Wesley Twigg said.
He added that the circumstances surrounding the tragedy remain under investigation.
