MANILA, Philippines — Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal no. 1 was hoisted by state meteorologists in four areas on Sunday morning due to Tropical Depression Luis.
As of 5 a.m., Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) raised Signal no. 1 over the Polillo Islands, Camarines Norte, the northern portion of Camarines Sur and Catanduanes.
Apart from the four areas, Luis is also forecast to bring scattered rains and thunderstorms over Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley, the rest of Calabarzon and Bicol Region, Aurora, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Romblon, Marinduque, Aklan and Antique.
