The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has announced the death of its Enugu State Sector Commander, Corps Commander Franklin O. Agbakoba, who died on Thursday after a brief illness.
The development was confirmed in an official First Information Report (FIR) issued by the FRSC Enugu Sector Command and obtained by SaharaReporters on Friday.
According to the report, signed by the Deputy Corps Commander in charge of Operations, DCC Kyrian C. Okolo, Agbakoba passed away on July 30, 2026, while receiving treatment at the Niger Foundation Hospital in Enugu.
The command said the late sector commander had been under medical care at the hospital, where doctors made efforts to stabilise his condition before he eventually succumbed to the illness.
