Nearly three centuries after a devastating fire, the western wing of Beckov Castle’s northern palace has reopened to the public. Visitors can now explore two reconstructed floors, while the building has also been fitted with a new roof.
“It’s an amazing feeling and a great satisfaction to see the work completed,” said Ernest Benko, mayor of the village of Beckov, as quoted by the regional newspaper MY Trenčín.
