National Media Group's new leadership appointments signal a transformative era for South African newspapers, with significant licensing rights acquired to enhance their portfolio.
National Media Group (NMG) on Friday announced key leadership appointments and licensing of trusted, major South African newspaper titles.
The Group announced the appointment of Mr Mzi Malunga as Chairman of the Board, Ms Melanie Peters as Chief Executive Officer, and Mr Wesley Chetty as Head of Strategy.
The Group said in a statement: "These appointments mark a significant milestone in the establishment of National Media Group as a dynamic new force in South Africa’s media landscape. Further executive appointments will be announced in due course as the Group continues to build a world-class leadership team to drive its long-term growth strategy.
