KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato — Police tightened security at two public schools in General Santos City after they received separate online threats targeting students and teachers, authorities said on Thursday.
Police personnel were immediately deployed to Buayan National High School, while security measures were also heightened at General Santos City SPED Integrated School after both schools received the threats.
The first threat surfaced in a social media post targeting Buayan National High School. The poster allegedly warned of a shooting once face-to-face classes resume and threatened to shoot everyone at the school, including a teacher whom the poster accused of bullying a cousin.
