The campaign council of the Osun State All Progressives Congress has urged Governor Ademola Adeleke to cooperate with the security agents and allow a thorough investigation of the Secretary to the State Government, Teslim Igbalaiye.
The council, while addressing journalists in Osogbo on Thursday, advised Adeleke to sack Igbalaiye for allegedly harbouring a suspect on the police watchlist.
The head, media and publicity of the council, Remi Omowaiye, who read the address of the group, expressed concern over the revelation that Adeleke was making an effort to free suspected criminals found at the SSG residence.
Omowaiye also urged good-spirited residents to prevail on Adeleke to stop harbouring criminals, insisting that such an act constituted a serious assault on the rule of law and the integrity of the country’s criminal justice system.
