A suburban train bound for Chennai Beach from Tambaram was delayed for about 35 minutes after developing a technical snag at Chennai Park Railway Station on Thursday.According to railway officials, EMU Train No. 40068 was detained at Park station at around 5.30 p.m. following a minor technical issue.To regulate suburban train services during the disruption, the following Train No. 40072 was short-terminated at Chennai Egmore and turned towards Tambaram. Railway staff rectified the technical issue promptly, following which Train No. 40068 resumed its journey from Park Station at 6.05 p.m.Officials said suburban services were regulated to minimise inconvenience to commuters.
