In Lviv, the emergency service team neutralized the warhead of a missile that had struck Vyhovskyi Street and had failed to detonate.
According to Ukrinform, Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovyi reported this on Telegram and posted a video from the scene near the damaged building.
“A missile struck a residential building directly on Vyhovskyi Street. The warhead, which did not detonate, has already been neutralized. Work is now underway to safely remove it. Rescue workers, police, and bomb disposal experts are on the scene,” the mayor wrote.
He thanked everyone who, risking their own lives, is dealing with the aftermath of the attack and helping people.
Sadovyi also reported that rescue workers had pulled an older woman from the rubble of a high-rise building on Paton Street that was damaged by the rocket strike. The search for two other people is ongoing.
