Hot and sunny weather will continue across Bulgaria on Thursday, with summer temperatures climbing as high as 36C in some parts of the country.
Morning temperatures will range between 14C and 20C. Sofia is expected to start the day at around 14C before warming to approximately 31C during the afternoon.
Skies will remain clear and sunny throughout the day. Winds will be light to moderate, blowing from the east, while daytime highs across the country are forecast to reach between 29C and 36C.
The Black Sea coast will also enjoy sunny conditions. Light to moderate east-northeasterly winds are expected, with maximum air temperatures ranging from 27C to 30C. Sea water temperatures will remain pleasant at 23C to 24C.
Mountain regions will see abundant sunshine as well. Moderate, at times strong, east-northeasterly winds are forecast at higher elevations. Temperatures are expected to reach around 26C at 1,200 meters above sea level and approximately 18C at 2,000 meters.
