Former IDAC, head Advocate Andrea Johnson, has concluded her testimony at the Madlanga Commission on Wednesday.
Despite refusing to answer questions about allegations that she shared a police docket with general Feroz Khan while he was probed, former Investigating Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC) head, Advocate Andrea Johnson, admitted that their relationship was far more personal than she had initially disclosed.
Johnson concluded six days of testimony on Tuesday under intense scrutiny from the Madlanga Commission, which is probing allegations surrounding her leadership of IDAC.
Commissioners questioned her extensively about claims that she improperly shared sensitive police information with Khan while he was under criminal investigation.
The controversy centres on a common assault and intimidation case opened by former Crime Intelligence officer Brigadier Leonora Phetlhe, who accused Khan of assaulting her in June 2018.
