While the footage does not show the shooting itself, it provides the clearest look yet at the chaotic moments that unfolded immediately afterward.The release of the video comes days after authorities confirmed that Mia Bieniemy, Eric Bieniemy's wife, survived the shooting after suffering gunshot wounds to her arm and chest. The video then captures an ambulance arriving at the scene before paramedics wheel a stretcher into the residence. A short time later, emergency crews escort Mia Bieniemy out for medical treatment while officers continue locking down the neighborhood. The footage ends with investigators placing crime scene tape around the property as they begin collecting evidence.Authorities have since charged Elijah Bieniemy with malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and discharging a firearm inside an occupied dwelling. Investigators have not released details about what may have led to the shooting, and the investigation remains active.The tragedy also brought immediate changes for the Kansas City Chiefs. Eric Bieniemy left training camp to be with his family, forcing the team to make a temporary coaching adjustment just weeks before the NFL season.Chiefs head coach Andy Reid addressed the situation during his post-practice press conference on July 27. Speaking to reporters after Bieniemy's departure from camp, Reid acknowledged the difficult circumstances facing his longtime assistant.He said, "Things happen. You just got to work through it, and that's where we're at right now.
