MANILA, Philippines — It was the middle of the rainy season, but at Santolan Elementary School, kindergarten pupils were singing “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.”
The performance welcomed British donor Jonathan M. Sterling during a gift-giving activity on Friday, July 24, when 300 kindergarten pupils and learners enrolled in the school’s special education program received school supplies, toys, food, and raincoats.
“We are very thankful and fortunate that our school was chosen as one of the beneficiaries,” said Editha A. Tolop, principal of Santolan Elementary School.
