MANILA, Philippines — Some 300 kindergarten and grade one pupils of Eulogio Rodriguez Integrated School (ERIS) in Mandaluyong City received school supplies and Jollibee food packs during “Sharing Joy, Spreading Love,” a gift-giving activity sponsored by philanthropist Jonathan Michael Sterling at the school gymnasium on July 17.
The event opened with a performance by selected pupils, who sang of their lives as a gift of service to their families and community — a number that set the tone for the afternoon.
Sterling personally distributed the gifts to the children, assisted by teachers Leonila Nuñez and Loreta D. Iringan.
