MANILA, Philippines — There is no greater gift than the chance to watch a child grow up healthy. For families raising children with congenital and acquired heart diseases, that chance often depends on timely diagnosis, access to specialized treatment, and the generosity of people willing to help shoulder the burden.
Across the Philippines, organizations such as Operation Heart Foundation, Inc. (OHFI), Heart Warriors of the Philippines, and Jaden and Friends Inc. have long worked to ensure that financial hardship does not stand in the way of lifesaving cardiac care.
