Mangaluru International Airport has added a second Kambala-themed installation in the airport, greeting passengers at the arrival forecourt on the lower ground floor.The first installation already welcomes travellers at the domestic arrival baggage belt. The move is part of the airport’s ongoing effort to bring the region’s culture and traditions closer to every visitor, right from the moment they land in Mangaluru. It follows an earlier initiative where a granite statue of a Yakshagana artist was installed near the roundabout close to the departure area, said a communique.
