As of the morning of July 27, Russian attacks have caused power outages in four regions of Ukraine.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the NPC Ukrenergo on Facebook.
“As a result of Russian shelling, as of this morning, there are new power outages in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions. Emergency repair work is already underway wherever safety conditions allow,” the statement reads.
It is noted that electricity consumption has decreased. Today, July 27, as of 9:30 a.m., it was 3.8% lower than at the same time on the previous business day—Friday, July 24. The reason for the change is clear weather throughout Ukraine. This results in high efficiency of residential solar power plants and a corresponding reduction in energy consumption from the main grid.
Yesterday, July 26, the daily peak in consumption was recorded in the evening. It was 7.3% lower than the peak from the previous Sunday, July 19. The reason is lower air temperatures, which did not prompt consumers to use air conditioners on a large scale.
