As of the morning of July 7, Russian attacks have left consumers without electricity in four Ukrainian regions, while 20 settlements in the Sumy region remain without power due to severe weather.
According to Ukrinform, Ukraine's state power grid operator Ukrenergo said this in a Facebook post.
"As a result of enemy shelling, new power outages were recorded this morning in the Donetsk, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kherson regions. Emergency repair crews are already carrying out restoration work wherever the security situation permits," the statement said.
In the Sumy region, 20 settlements remained fully or partially without electricity as of the morning of July 7 due to adverse weather. Regional utility crews are repairing damaged power lines, although the work is being complicated by the security situation in the region.
