As of the morning of July 15, Russian attacks have left consumers without electricity in four Ukrainian regions, while more than 50 settlements in seven regions remain without power due to severe weather.
According to Ukrinform, Ukraine's power grid operator Ukrenergo reported this on Facebook.
"The enemy continues to attack Ukraine's civilian energy infrastructure. As of this morning, Russian strikes have caused new power outages in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions. Emergency repair work is already underway wherever the security situation permits," the statement said.
Thunderstorms, hail, and strong winds also left more than 50 settlements fully or partially without electricity in the Ternopil, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, and Mykolaiv regions as of the morning of July 15. Regional power distribution companies are repairing damaged power lines.
