The document, dated July 22, 2026, purported to be an alert warning of "alleged planned terrorist attacks of various sites in the City of Johannesburg."
The alert, credited to the country’s State Security Agency, claimed that intelligence had identified a group of 12 men allegedly plotting to detonate six explosive devices at key locations in Johannesburg.
