A devastating head-on collision involving a Hyundai H1 and a minibus on the N2 at the Bhoboza off-ramp in the Inkosi uMtubatuba Local Municipality claimed the lives of four people on Sunday night, becoming the latest in a string of horrific crashes that have claimed innocent lives across KwaZulu-Natal this July.
According to the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Transport and Human Settlements, the crash, which killed two men and two women, adds to a growing list of fatal accidents that have left families shattered and communities in mourning during the month.

The department's MEC, Siboniso Duma ,said he received a report on the tragedy at about 2am after Road Traffic Inspectorate (RTI) teams had completed operations at the scene.
